The ASEAN–Korea Roundtable in Tourism is supported by two connected bodies: the Steering Committee, which guides planning and delivery, and the Technical Working Party, which monitors follow-up actions and policy progress.

The Steering Committee plans, implements, and evaluates the Roundtable. The Technical Working Party monitors follow-up actions and reports on progress.

SC / 01

Steering Committee

Steering Committee (SC): SATDC & P2A jointly run a steering committee as commander of operation. SC is composed of 1 consultant, 4 experts from SATDC and P2A respectively, and 1 from Korea Tourism Organization(KTO). KTO's participation in the SC will promote active participation of ASEAN partners.

SC is in charge of planning, implementing, and evaluating the Roundtable. SC activities include planning the framework of RT, disseminating the plan, inviting speakers, moderators, panellists as well as major stakeholders from ASEAN countries & Korea, running RT, and conveying feedback on RT in cooperation with the Technical Working Party.

TWP / 02

TECHNICAL WORKING PARTY

Monitoring (Technical Working Party) - To optimize the effectiveness and practicability of the roundtable results, there's a plan in place to monitor progress via the Technical Working Party(TWP) which includes 11 Representatives from ASEAN, and Project Managers. As TWP members, we plan to include representatives from each country participating in AK-RT. TWP is in charge of monitoring and following up on updates of measures taken and to be taken by ASEAN member countries and Korea based on the recommendation from RT. And TWP members will be invited to RT every year to explain the monitoring results. Each year, TWP monitoring results and RT policy recommendations can be reported to the Meeting of ASEAN+3 NTOs and ultimately to the Meeting of ASEAN Tourism Ministers +3. TWP will work closely with the Steering Committee.

The Technical Working Party list will be consolidated once NTO confirms their participation and delegate.
